• Location: 5419 North Lovington Highway, Hobbs, NM 88240, United States
• Start Date: 12/01/2026
• End Date/Duration: Ongoing, initially 2 weeks in December, with potential for more sporadic shifts (~2 weeks/month)
• Shift: 7am-7am (24-hour beeper call; provider not required to be on-site, flexible timing possible)
• Hours/Week: Varies based on coverage needs
• Employment Type: Locum/Contract
• Licenses/Certs: Active NM license, NM DEA, Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 3-5 years of residency)
• Experience: Preferred recent case logs within the past 24 months

Pay & Benefits

• Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (pay package discussed upon application)

What You’ll Do

• Provide orthopedic surgical care at Covenant Hobbs Hospital
• Manage light patient volume and perform procedures as required
• Participate in 24/7 beeper call coverage (not on-site)
• Complete documentation and case logs promptly
• Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure quality patient care
• Enroll in the Patient Compensation Fund for New Mexico as required

What You Need

• Active New Mexico medical license and NM DEA
• Board Certified or Board Eligible within 3-5 years of residency
• Recent case logs within the past 24 months
• Strong clinical skills in orthopedic surgery
• Ability to work independently during call shifts
