Description

• Assess patients in both an inpatient and outpatient context and craft bespoke treatment plans
• Implement physical therapy techniques aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall functionality
• Partner with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to maximize patient outcomes
• Guide patients and family members on therapeutic objectives, discharge processes, and home exercise routines
• Maintain documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in care team rounds and interdisciplinary discussions to ensure seamless care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification preferred
• Additional specialized certifications (e.g., in neurology, geriatrics) are advantageous but not mandatory

Skills

• Previous experience in a clinical setting is strongly preferred
