Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, providing detailed explanations of each procedure
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and referring physicians, ensuring the delivery of high-quality diagnostic images
• Efficiently operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly reporting any issues
• Document procedures accurately and maintain organized patient records in the electronic medical system
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Preferred: Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent credential
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
