Location: San Francisco (full-time, in-office)

Compensation: $120K–$130K + equity

About the Company

We're working with an early-stage AI startup building agents for enterprise sales teams. They're backed by a top-tier venture firm and founders from some of the most well-known consumer and enterprise technology companies. They're building fast, moving aggressively, and looking for people who want to be part of something defining.

The Role

This is a founding Customer Success Lead role, hired to build the Customer Success organization from scratch. It's a highly strategic, customer-facing position for someone who wants to operate at the center of product, customer relationships, onboarding, renewals, expansion, and enterprise growth.

This person will work directly with leadership and become one of the earliest operators shaping how the company supports and grows enterprise customers.

What You'll Do

  • Own customer relationships from onboarding through renewal and expansion
  • Speak with customers daily and become a trusted advisor to enterprise accounts
  • Drive upsells, renewals, adoption, and long-term customer success
  • Partner closely with product and engineering to shape the roadmap based on customer feedback
  • Build systems, processes, and playbooks for Customer Success from the ground up
  • Represent the company in high-stakes conversations with large enterprise customers
  • Help define what world-class Customer Success looks like here

Ideal Background

  • One of the first five Customer Success hires at a successful startup
  • Experience supporting enterprise products and enterprise customers is required
  • 3+ years of Customer Success experience preferred
  • Strong preference for startup experience over large corporate environments
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building from zero
  • Refined, polished, and credible in front of senior executives and enterprise buyers
  • Strong communication skills with high emotional intelligence
  • Extremely hardworking, responsive, and proactive
  • Ambitious and excited to help build a category-defining company
  • Has built business cases to upsell and retain customers

Location

This is a full-time, in-office role based in San Francisco. Candidates already based in San Francisco are preferred. Candidates willing to relocate to San Francisco by August will also be considered.
