Job Responsibilities

• Create Customized Therapy Plans: Assess patients' needs and develop tailored therapy strategies to support them in achieving their functional aspirations
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Leverage evidence-based methodologies to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and daily living activities
• Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work hand-in-hand with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to deliver well-rounded care
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance to patients and their families on therapy options that encourage sustained improvement at home
• Track and Document Outcomes: Monitor patient progress and refine treatment approaches as necessary, ensuring each individual remains on track

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Continuing education or advanced certifications are highly encouraged

Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT certification is mandatory
