RN Unit Manager Duties Assess resident's clinical needs. Handle all supervisory duties for the unit. Mentor less experienced nurses. Establish the standards of care for the unit. Review Resident records & quality of care. Address questions brought forward by Residents and their families. Represent the unit's interests with the upper-level management. Requirements Long Term Care Experience Preferred, but we will train the right graduate nurse. Must hold valid, unencumbered Registered Nurse License in NYS or be eligible for reciprocity.
