Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join our team as a traveling Physical Therapist in Tillamook, OR, where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing a new location. You will plan and conduct segments of treatment programs designed to restore and improve physical, social, and mental functions. You will serve as a co-leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient groups.

Minimum Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, or foreign equivalent. (DPT required if license obtained on or after January 2016.)
• Active Physical Therapy license valid in the applicable state(s) of practice. Required to start the assignment.
• Home health experience. Required.
• Valid driver’s license and minimum age of 21 years. Required.
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per facility policy. Required.
• Availability to work a 40-hour workweek on day shift. Required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in home health settings beyond entry level. Preferred.
• Mileage reimbursement familiarity or experience providing care that requires travel. Preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift Days: Monday through Friday.
• Shift Hours: 40 hours per week on a day schedule.
• Position requires travel to patient homes within the service area and use of a personal vehicle for visits.
