Maintenance TechnicianLocation: National Church Residences Telegraph Road- 6050 Telegraph Road St. Louis, MO 63129 - 45 units Schedule: Part time 24 hours a weekThe Maintenance Technician ensures senior housing facilities remain safe, functional, and visually appealing. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, repairs, facility upkeep, and supervising junior staff, while ensuring compliance with all regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine and preventive maintenance on plumbing, electrical, and safety systemsDiagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issuesMaintain cleanliness and safety of common areas and groundsEnsure safety compliance and correct potential hazardsSupervise and train junior maintenance staffManage inventory and order suppliesDocument maintenance activities and report to leadershipQualificationsHigh school diploma required; vocational training preferred2+ years of maintenance experience (senior housing a plus)Skilled in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systemsStrong problem-solving and communication skillsRelevant certifications and valid driver's license requiredBuilding maintenance experience requiredAbility to work flexible hours and be on emergency call rotationMust possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Work EnvironmentWork performed indoors and outdoorsOccasional exposure to noise and hazardous materialsMust be available for emergency on-call shifts as scheduledIn return, National Church Residences offers an excellent total reward package that includes:Medical & Rx – 3 plan options to fit your budget; choose from coverage offered through a Nationwide network for you and your family.
