Note: Partly is headquartered in Austin, TX with offices in London, UK, Christchurch, NZ and Auckland, NZ. Wherever you're based, we'll connect you with your nearest office for onboarding, and fly you to join the full team for our quarterly "Season Openers" (we cover travel and accommodation). TL;DR

Partly has solved one of the hardest problems in automotive parts data for some of the world's largest automotive businesses. Now we're bringing that technology to the U.S. repair industry—and we're looking for the person who will help build what's next. Why Partly The global replacement parts market is worth $1.9 trillion , yet much of the industry still runs on spreadsheets, phone calls, and outdated systems. We're building the infrastructure that modernizes how parts are sourced and procured—think Stripe, but for automotive parts . We're backed by Blackbird Ventures (Canva, Culture Amp), Square Peg, and Octopus Ventures, with personal investment from Dylan Field (Figma) and Akshay Kothari (Notion). Our engineering roots come from Rocket Lab. We've tripled our team over the past year, have proven product-market fit, and power hundreds of businesses around the world. We're past the "does this work?" stage. Now we're scaling into new markets—and the U.S. is our biggest opportunity yet. This role The Sales Representative, Mid-Market, USA will lead Partly's expansion into the independent automotive and collision shop market starting in Austin, TX. They will report into the Head of Sales, USA. This is an opportunity to disrupt a fragmented industry and pioneer how independent repairers source and procure parts. This is an in-person, territory-owned field role. You will be in shops, not just on the phone: walking in, earning the conversation, and taking owners and operators from cold to active with Partly. You will be the engine behind our growth in this region, and you will do it on the ground, face to face. You will be helping shape the playbook as you go - you'll test messaging, run high-volume outreach, and prove out a sales model built to scale. This is a first-hire role. We're building the US mid-market motion from the ground up. You will have significant influence over how we approach this segment and the relationships you build will set the tone for future hires in the region. What will you do Full-cycle sales: You own the process from walk-in to close. You will run in-person drop-ins, book and run discovery, demo the platform, and sign founding partners. You will build and manage your own pipeline with discipline and velocity. Own your territory: You'll manage a specific region, building relationships with shop owners and operators, and leveraging local networks to open doors. Translate tech to value: You'll explain how Partly solves real problems - saving time on invoicing, managing relationships with multiple suppliers, reducing manual data entry. You won't just demo software; you'll advise on procurement workflows. Speak the shop's language: You will not just demo software. You will understand how shops estimate, how they source across OEM, aftermarket, and recycled parts, and how DRP scorecards shape behaviour. You will translate that into practical workflow value and implementation steps. Consultative selling: You'll handle objections with confidence and work with customers to understand their current pain points and processes. High-velocity hunting: You'll execute consistent outbound activity to generate your own pipeline. You aren't afraid of the phone and you understand that volume + quality = growth. Collaborate: You'll collaborate with RevOps (deal tracking and analytics) and Onboarding to ensure smooth handoffs and fast time-to-value for new customers. Pipeline discipline: You'll maintain rigorous CRM hygiene, forecast accurately, and keep a tight next-step cadence across active opportunities. You'll spot patterns (objections, blockers, feature requests) and feed them back to Product and GTM. Your skills Commercial DNA: 2-4+ years of proven, high-velocity B2B sales — field, territory, or SaaS. You know how to hunt, consult, and close. Collision or independent automotive industry experience is a strong plus. Field credibility: You can walk into a blue-collar shop, talk to the person with grease on their hands, and earn trust quickly. You read as genuine, not as a slick outsider. Territory owner mentality: You thrive with autonomy. You can manage a region, build local relationships, and make sound decisions without needing constant guidance. Comfortable in ambiguity: The systems are still being built. You see that as the opportunity, not the problem, and you help build them. Resilient & proactive: You're prepared to get on the road or the phone. You handle rejection well and turn objections into conversations about ROI and workflow improvement. Process driven: You can manage a high-velocity pipeline without dropping detail. You maintain discipline and suggest improvements when you see them. Technically curious: You can learn how shops operate - inventory management, invoicing, supplier relationships - and translate that into practical implementation steps. Ownership: You're proactive, resourceful, and comfortable being accountable for outcomes. You take pride in what you own.
