Insurance Defense Legal Assistant
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Legal Assistant for a respected law firm in West Palm Beach. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of insurance defense experience and a strong ability to manage litigation matters in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and litigation support to insurance defense attorneys
- Draft, format, and file legal documents in state and federal courts
- Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, hearings, and trial schedules
- Coordinate discovery, medical records, and case-related documentation
- Prepare correspondence, pleadings, and litigation binders
- Maintain case files and track critical deadlines
Qualifications
- 3+ years of insurance defense legal assistant experience
- Strong knowledge of Florida court rules and e-filing procedures
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
- Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a high-volume caseload
