Bookkeeper - Part-time

We are seeking an experienced, full-service Construction Bookkeeper and Financial Analyst to work remotely with our U.S.-based client from Florida. The client is looking for someone who goes beyond traditional data-entry bookkeeping — a senior, "Fractional CFO" style professional who can manage day-to-day bookkeeping while also analyzing financial statements, reviewing the numbers, and providing strategic feedback and real business insights. What you'll do: Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable and accounts receivable. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across QuickBooks, Buildertrend, and Adaptive.ai. Review and analyze financial statements to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Provide strategic, high-level feedback and financial insights similar to a fractional CFO. Support the client in making informed financial decisions for the business. Ensure accuracy and consistency in construction-related expense categorization and cost structures. Collaborate closely with the client to align on financial priorities and reporting needs. What you must have: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 10+ years of proven experience in construction bookkeeping and financial analysis. An advanced English level. Hands-on experience with QuickBooks, Buildertrend, and Adaptive.ai. Strong knowledge of construction expense categories and cost structures. Proven ability to analyze financial statements and deliver strategic, actionable insights. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. A great plus: Previous experience working in a fractional CFO or senior financial advisory role. Background supporting construction companies with high-level financial decision-making.
