About the Opportunity

Enlightened, Inc. is seeking an HR Generalist to join our team for a six-month contract assignment. This is a great opportunity for an early-career HR professional looking to expand their hands-on experience across multiple areas of human resources while working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

The HR Generalist will support day-to-day HR operations and the employee lifecycle, including employee records, HRIS administration, compliance, employee support, and HR programs and processes.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day HR operations and employee lifecycle activities.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Assist with onboarding, offboarding, employee changes, and other HR transactions.
• Provide guidance to employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and general HR questions.
• Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, and FLSA.
• Maintain employee information and process transactions within ADP Workforce Now .
• Assist with HR reporting, data management, and documentation.
• Handle employee information with a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Partner with HR leadership to address employee-related questions and resolve routine HR matters.
• Support additional HR initiatives and projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience .
  
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now is required .
• Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Sound judgment and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
