Makes adjustments to the set-ups as necessary.Job Requirements:Maintain a safe work environment.Visually and by touch will inspect forged parts and work pieces for excess metal.Perform tooling set-up as required for specified parts.Mount parts and work pieces in holding fixture or hand hold to secure.Remove defects with air-powered deburring tools.Maintain accurate part and/or work piece counts.Assure quality and production requirements are met, as per the job-specific travelers.Participate in total quality management projects to achieve continuous improvement.Participate in LEAN manufacturing and SPC activities as required.Ensure adherence to APP's policies and procedures, including our code of conduct and ethics policy, product safety, employee safety and cultural beliefs.Ensure adherence to all process specifications.Support the Plant quality system goals / improvements & productivity goals / improvements within the scope of the job.Perform any other duties not mentioned above when instructed to do so by the APP leadership.Skill Requirements:English (reading, writing, verbal and comprehension).Understand written and verbal instructions.Maintain focus on tasks throughout a scheduled shift.Keep accurate part counts.Demonstrate proficiency in basic mathematics.Recognize any mechanical dysfunctions or risks and notify a supervisor.Maintain an acceptable attendance record.Follow and respect supervisor's direction.Ensure quality parts to meet customers' and APP's requirements.Work at an acceptable level of productivity.Maintain a non-combative, positive work attitude.Uphold safe, honest work habits and practices.Follow company policies and procedures.In an effort to achieve continuous improvement, APP expects a willingness from employees to be cross-trained on multiple operations.Communicate effectively and professionally with all employees across all levels and departments at APP.In compliance with ITAR regulations, must be a US Citizen or US Person (U.S. Person = a natural person who is a lawful permanent resident as defined in 8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(20) or who is a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).Why work for APP?Medical, Dental, Vision – Generous company contribution, low cost to employeeLife insurance – 100% company paid - covers employee, spouse and dependent childrenGenerous Vacation Time9 Paid HolidaysHoliday Shut Down (Christmas thru New Year's)Sick TimeAnnual Bonus (based on company meeting Key Results)401k (Company matches up to 4%)ESOP Employee Profit Sharing Retirement Plan (100% Company Paid)Tuition reimbursementCompensation: $18.00 - $20.00 an hour.
