Project Manager

Project Manager Location: Exeter, RIM Force Partners is seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage a portfolio of projects and business initiatives while ensuring priorities are effectively planned, executed, and aligned with organizational objectives. This position will provide visibility into project progress, risks, dependencies, resource requirements, and overall portfolio performance across multiple concurrent workstreams.The ideal Project Manager brings strong experience in project and portfolio management, project prioritization, resource and capacity planning, stakeholder management, and performance reporting. This individual will work across business functions to establish project priorities, maintain accountability, manage risks, and ensure initiatives are delivered according to established timelines and objectives.The Project Manager will oversee projects from initiation through implementation and closure while helping strengthen project governance, reporting, and continuous improvement practices across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a portfolio of projects, business initiatives, and continuous improvement activitiesDevelop and maintain a portfolio roadmap aligned with strategic priorities and business objectivesMonitor portfolio health, project dependencies, resource capacity, and competing prioritiesProvide portfolio-level reporting, analysis, and recommendations to support leadership decision-makingEstablish and maintain consistent project governance, methodologies, and reporting requirementsFacilitate project intake, evaluation, and prioritization processesEvaluate proposed projects based on business value, risks, resource requirements, organizational impact, and strategic alignmentCollaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, timelines, deliverables, and success measuresMaintain visibility into project demand and organizational resource capacityIdentify delivery constraints, dependencies, risks, and opportunities during strategic planningManage projects from initiation through planning, execution, implementation, and closureDevelop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverablesTrack project performance against established timelines, budgets, and objectivesIdentify, manage, and escalate project risks, issues, and dependenciesCoordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project activities are completed on schedule and meet established requirementsEstablish and maintain project and portfolio dashboards, performance metrics, and reporting frameworksProvide regular project updates covering status, milestones, risks, resource utilization, and delivery performanceImplement corrective actions when projects fall behind established objectivesTrack project outcomes and benefits realization against defined business objectivesMaintain accurate and organized project documentation and recordsBuild effective relationships with project sponsors, business leaders, and cross-functional stakeholdersFacilitate project meetings, steering committees, and portfolio review sessionsCommunicate project decisions, changes, risks, and priorities to appropriate stakeholdersDrive accountability across project teams and stakeholdersIdentify opportunities to improve project delivery, prioritization, resource management, and governance processesCapture lessons learned and implement project management best practicesSupport the adoption and continued improvement of project management and change management methodologiesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Operations Management, Information Technology, or a related fieldProfessional experience managing multiple concurrent projects, initiatives, or workstreamsStrong knowledge of project and portfolio management principles, methodologies, and governance practicesExperience managing projects from initiation through implementation and closureExperience developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverablesExperience with project intake, evaluation, and prioritizationStrong understanding of resource management and capacity planningAbility to identify, evaluate, manage, and escalate project risks, issues, and dependenciesExperience developing project reports, dashboards, performance metrics, and leadership updatesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven recommendationsExperience coordinating cross-functional project teamsStrong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence outcomes across multiple levels of an organizationExperience facilitating project meetings, reviews, and stakeholder discussionsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing prioritiesExcellent written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation skillsExperience using project management and reporting software, including WrikeAbility to drive accountability and project execution within a fast-paced environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience managing a portfolio of projects in addition to individual project deliveryExperience with New Product Development (NPD), product development, manufacturing, automotive, engineering, or other technical projectsExperience developing portfolio roadmaps and supporting strategic planning cyclesExperience with formal stage-gate or project governance processesExperience with benefits realization and project performance measurementExperience supporting organizational change management
