Job Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Treatment Strategies: Assess patients' unique needs and establish personalized therapy plans that help them reach their functional milestones.

• Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work hand-in-hand with OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses to deliver comprehensive, person-centered care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their loved ones on therapy methods to encourage continuous improvement at home.
• Track and Adjust Progress: Monitor patient development meticulously, documenting outcomes and modifying therapies for optimal effectiveness.

Education Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Continued education and advanced certifications welcomed and supported.

Certification Necessities

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is essential.
