As part of our virtual team, you will play an integral role in utilizing telehealth technologies to connect with clients, conduct therapy sessions, and collaborate on care plans. Our advanced electronic health record (EHR) system, AVATAR, will facilitate your documentation and case management, ensuring a seamless workflow.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed mental health evaluations and preliminary interviews, thoroughly documenting client interactions from initial consultation to conclusion of treatment.

• Develop personalized intervention and recovery plans tailored to the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to foster growth and healing.
\n
• Continuously monitor client progress throughout the treatment plan, making adjustments as necessary to optimize outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate closely with fellow mental health professionals, including psychologists, psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers to develop comprehensive intervention strategies.

• Act as a liaison for clients admitted to the hospital by coordinating with psychiatrists and other attending physicians.
\n
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with behaviors that may hinder recovery, providing necessary guidance and support to both clients and their families.

• Work with family members and primary caregivers to equip them with the tools to handle mental health challenges encountered by their loved ones.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of California is essential.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE) is necessary.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as exceptional interpersonal abilities are critical for success in this role.
