**Department: Neuro ICU | RN** **Required Certifications:** - BLS (Basic Life Support) - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - NIH Stroke Scale Certification **Experience or 'Must have' skills:** - Ventriculostomy - Ventilators - Arterial lines - Central lines - tPA (tissue Plasminogen Activator) - Acute stroke management - Post craniectomy **Licensure:** - Active IL license or confirmation that application process has been initiated **Clinical Experience:** - Nurse: Patient Ratios: 1:2 - Required to titrate drips - RT Equipment: RNs required to troubleshoot - Nurses required to read and interpret strips **Shift Requirements:** - 12-hour shifts - 12hr Nights - Weekend: Every other weekend - Holiday Requirements: Rotating every other holiday **Additional Requirements:** - Last four (4) digits of clinician's SSN - Clinician's middle initial - Requested time off - Understanding that OSF is a Drug-Free Campus and must produce a negative drug screen for all panels **BSN:** - Not required
