Production WorkerThe Production Worker plays a key role in transforming raw materials into finished products by performing precise measurements, following blueprints, hand-assembling components, and ensuring overall product quality. You work at your own station within a collaborative team environment, supporting machine operators with job setup and contributing to efficient, high-quality production.ResponsibilitiesManufacture raw materials into finished products according to specifications and quality standards.Use a tape measure to take accurate measurements and mark guidelines on materials.Draw and mark measurement lines to prepare materials for cutting, bending, or assembly.Hand-assemble products, ensuring components fit correctly and meet required dimensions.Bend products to correct angles based on blueprints and job requirements.Work from blueprints and job instructions to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.Assist machine operators with setting up jobs and preparing materials for production runs.Maintain an organized and efficient workstation within a team-based production environment.Perform general labor tasks such as assembly and packing as needed.Adhere to safety procedures and quality standards throughout the production process.Essential SkillsPrevious manufacturing experience or strong mechanical aptitude.Ability to comfortably work in a team-oriented production environment.Capability to bend, push, or lift up to 45 pounds as part of daily tasks.Comfort with standing on your feet for the entire shift.Basic proficiency using hand tools in a production or warehouse setting.Ability to read and work from blueprints and job instructions.Attention to detail when measuring, marking, and assembling products.Reliability and consistency in following safety and quality procedures.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ludlow, MA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
