Sales Specialist

Our client is hiring a Sales Development Representative in Tampa, FL, to build new business opportunities for a business intelligence software company serving automotive dealerships, heavy equipment, truck and trailer, and material handling businesses. This hybrid position requires living in Tampa or within commuting distance. Have some outbound sales experience (COLD CALLING) or completed a structured sales training program? This opportunity offers a path into technology sales, with coaching and a company that promotes from within. SaaS experience is not required. Why consider this opportunity? Your focus Start conversations with potential customers through cold calls, email, and LinkedIn outreach. Explore business challenges and qualify leads for Account Executives. Keep prospect information, follow-ups, and outreach activity organized in HubSpot. Partner with sales and marketing on targeted prospecting campaigns. Build knowledge of dealership operations and software applications. Work toward lead generation and sales pipeline goals while applying feedback from coaching. Your background Initial experience in sales development, business development, or outbound prospecting; a sales internship or structured sales training may also qualify. Willingness to make cold calls and consistently pursue new opportunities. Clear, professional communication and strong listening skills. Initiative, organization, and a results-focused approach. Automotive or dealership outreach experience is especially helpful, but other industry backgrounds are welcome. CRM familiarity is helpful. Bachelor’s degree preferred; not required.
