Echodyne offers its radars to companies working in Automotive, Transportation, Critical Infrastructure Protection, Border Security, Smart Cities, Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS), and Airspace Management including Urban Air Mobility (UTM).Echodyne is seeking an Architect, Manufacturing Test to join our fast-growing team. ROLE OVERVIEWAs an Architect of the manufacturing test processes, you will lead the definition of the end-to-end manufacturing test strategy and test infrastructure that will ensure product quality through a comprehensive and scalable test architecture.RESPONSIBILITIESDesign the manufacturing test strategy for radars focusing on product quality, data integrity and business scalabilityDefine HW and SW technical requirements to develop repeatable test processesDevelop test processes and methods for new radar technologiesProvide design for testability recommendationsDefine the SW architecture focused on automation ensuring data integrityConduct test data analysis to monitor the performance of test processes and provide guidance to correct deviations and support root cause analyses of product failuresDevelop manufacturing test roadmaps aligned to Echodyne’s product portfolio and business goals based on state-of-the-art test technologiesWrite technical documentation to meet the Quality requirements and create a solid knowledge baseCollaborate with Manufacturing, Test Engineering, Product Development Engr and other teams as needed to support testing, debugging and repair activitiesREQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCEProven experience designing and developing manufacturing test HW and SW solutions for different product integration levelsExperience designing manufacturing test strategies end to end from component and board level tests to system level functional testingStrong technical knowledge of test techniques and methods used in testing RF signalsPrevious experience defining testability requirements on electronic productsStrong leadership and communication skillsMust be able to work onsite at Echodyne premisesDESIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE (Looking for one or more as a complement to the core skills) In-depth knowledge of RF circuits and RadarsPrevious experience leading technical teamsGeneral project management skillsLynux/Unix experiencePrevious experience with manufacturing processes of radarsQUALIFICATIONSPhD, M.S., B.S, C.S, or equivalent Engineering degree in a technical field10 or more years of experience in electronics manufacturing and test environmentsProven technical leadership driving manufacturing test projects from design to deploymentEchodyne’s technology is export controlled by the U.S. Government and we must evaluate an applicant’s eligibility to handle export-controlled information or obtain required Government authorizations.  Therefore, we will ask you as part of the application process to identify whether you are a U.S. Citizen or green card holder, or have asylum/refugee status in the U.S. WHAT WE OFFERThis is an exempt role.The expected annual salary range for this role is$149,659—$224,437 USDIf your skills generally align but not perfectly, please apply anyway.
