Campus Operations Manager, Nova Academy - $60,000/year USD

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in‑person position based at our Austin, TX campus. Nova Academy serves students and families who demand more from their educational experience, and this role ensures that every campus element—from family communication and student safety to daily operations and technology—functions reliably, enabling staff to focus on student engagement. In this direct, community‑oriented role, you own the complete non‑instructional operation of the campus, building family trust through transparent communication, protecting student welfare through safety protocols, managing facilities and logistics, and ensuring technology supports learning. What You Will Be Doing Develop trusting relationships with parents, students, and staff through proactive, bilingual outreach and communication. Oversee campus safety functions, including entry protocols, health‑related incidents, emergency drills, record‑keeping, and family notifications. Coordinate daily campus operations such as attendance tracking, transportation logistics, facility maintenance, and administrative support. Facilitate onboarding and orientation for new employees to ensure seamless integration into campus procedures and culture. Administer student technology and campus devices, acting as the primary on‑site tech contact and Google Administrator. What You Won’t Be Doing Deliver classroom instruction or provide academic support. Mentor Guides or contribute to curriculum development. Work within a narrowly scoped or exclusively clerical capacity. Operate in a static, highly routine environment. Delegate challenges rather than drive them to resolution. Campus Operations Manager Key Responsibilities Ensure Nova Academy functions safely, efficiently, and reliably so that students, staff, and families encounter a high‑integrity, well‑managed campus daily. Basic Requirements Bachelor’s degree (field of study not specified). At least one year of experience in office coordination, facilities support, site operations, or comparable operational functions. Proficiency with foundational technology tasks including device configuration, troubleshooting, and account management. Excellent written and spoken communication abilities. Capability to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining close attention to detail. Fluency in both spoken Spanish and English with the ability to communicate clearly in both languages. Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship. Availability to work on‑site in Austin, TX, or readiness to relocate. Nice‑to‑have Requirements Three or more years of operational management experience. Background serving as a Google Administrator. Experience coordinating and executing events. Working With Us This is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position that is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record.
