Paralegal Location: Cedarhurst, NY Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday through Friday – Standard Business Hours Salary: Based on Experience Description A sophisticated and growing Law Firm is seeking a full-time Paralegal to join its Litigation Department in the Cedarhurst office. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to work alongside experienced attorneys in a fast-paced and collaborative legal environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong research, writing, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines while supporting attorneys throughout the litigation process. What You’ll Do Summarize case files and prepare reports for attorneys Conduct legal research and investigate facts to support case development and legal strategy Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery demands and responses, contracts, and deposition summaries Prepare, organize, and file documents with courts and administrative agencies Maintain and organize case files, exhibits, records, and related documentation Track deadlines, court dates, filings, and litigation schedules Monitor changes in laws, regulations, and legal procedures and provide updates to attorneys as needed Assist attorneys with trial preparation, discovery, and case management activities Coordinate with clients, courts, experts, and opposing counsel as directed Support the litigation team with administrative and case-related projects Requirements Bachelor's degree required Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong research and analytical skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team #J-18808-Ljbffr Sbhonline
