Join Our Dynamic Team as an RN - MSU/PCU Days Job Description: - Exciting opportunity to work in a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital! - Seeking a skilled RN for our Medical Surgical Unit/Patient Care Unit (MSU/PCU). - Must have diverse experience and flexibility to adapt to various departments as needed. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and meet patient and significant others' educational needs through effective modalities. - Ensure patient safety by implementing preventative measures (e.g. side rails, restraints). - Demonstrate knowledge of safe equipment operation in PCU/Telemetry/MedSurg areas. - Utilize troubleshooting techniques and maintain equipment according to procedures. - Implement infection control and isolation procedures diligently. - Maintain accurate and concise documentation of patient status and nursing interventions. - Report critical lab values to physicians promptly and adhere to policies. - Manage the maintenance and stocking of emergency carts and general supplies. - Participate in shift change reporting to ensure continuity of care. Qualifications: - WA nursing license must be ACTIVE. - Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience. - Certifications required: ACLS, BLS/BCLS.
