Responsibilities Install electrical systems including wiring, outlets, and lighting fixtures in new and existing buildings. Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair. Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices. Maintain and repair electrical equipment and systems to ensure optimal operation and safety compliance. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately perform installations and repairs. Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals on electrical design and layout to meet project specifications. Adhere to all local and national electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations during all phases of work. Requirements Valid electrician license or certification as required by local regulations. Proven experience as an electrician in residential, commercial, or industrial projects. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety protocols. Ability to read technical diagrams, blueprints, and manuals. Proficient in using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment. Physical ability to perform tasks requiring standing, climbing, and lifting heavy equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
