About the Role

The Company is seeking an Associate General Counsel to join their legal team. The successful candidate will be a key legal and business partner, providing strategic counsel on a wide range of legal matters, including commercial transactions, regulatory compliance, employment issues, litigation, licensing, risk management, and corporate operations. This role requires close collaboration with executive and functional leaders to mitigate risk, support business growth, and strengthen legal processes. The Associate General Counsel will also be involved in commercial contracting, marketing and consumer compliance, employment and labor matters, litigation and dispute resolution, as well as licensing, regulatory, and corporate governance. Applicants for the Associate General Counsel position at the company should have a Juris Doctor degree and active bar membership in good standing, with at least 10 years of legal experience, preferably a mix of law firm and in-house counsel. Expertise in commercial contracting, employment law, corporate governance, compliance, and risk management is essential. The role demands a proven ability to partner with executive leaders, manage litigation and regulatory matters, and lead legal teams. Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are required, as is the ability to balance legal risk with business objectives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. Experience in supporting private equity-backed, multi-site, or high-growth organizations is a plus.
