Job Opportunity: Neurologist Specializing in Movement Disorders

Our organization is seeking a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible Neurologist with specialized fellowship training in movement disorders. This position is part of the Department of Neurology and will involve joining a dynamic outpatient practice that sees a consistent influx of patients dealing with a wide range of movement disorders.

The center is also engaged in an active clinical trials program and has a strong focus on collaborative research, providing an excellent opportunity to integrate clinical responsibilities with academic pursuits. We are looking for a candidate who demonstrates enthusiasm, curiosity, and a dedication to patient care and education.

• Manage an outpatient-focused practice centered on movement disorders with a robust referral network.
• Engage in clinical trials and collaborative research initiatives.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to Parkinson's disease and related conditions.
• Educate neurology residents and medical students.
• Participate in conferences, case discussions, and curriculum development.
• Support scholarly activities and professional growth.

• Experience in managing patients undergoing deep brain stimulation (DBS).
• Proficiency in administering botulinum toxin injections for movement disorders.
• Interest in fostering academic and research initiatives.

• MD/DO or equivalent with board certification or eligibility in Neurology.
• Completion of a fellowship in Movement Disorders.
• Possession of an active and unrestricted medical license or eligibility for licensure in New York State.
• A strong commitment to education and mentorship.

• Competitive base salary ranging from $220,000 to $240,000, based on academic rank, with additional incentive bonuses available.
