Contract Specialist III

Our client, an industry leader in oil and gas project management, is seeking a Contract Specialist III to join their team. As a Contract Specialist III, you will be part of the Contracts and Commercial Negotiations team supporting IT-related goods and services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong negotiation skills, self-autonomy, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Contract Specialist III Location: Houston, TX Pay Range: $48.57 Shift: What's the Job? Negotiate and manage contracts related to IT services, software licenses, SaaS, hardware, telecom, and related agreements. Redline and review contractual terms and conditions to ensure clarity and protection of company interests. Collaborate with internal teams such as technical leads, risk management, tax, and legal to align contract terms with organizational policies and project needs. Work closely with external vendors and contractors to facilitate smooth negotiations and contract execution. Maintain detailed records of contract negotiations and ensure compliance with company standards and legal requirements. What's Needed? Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract negotiation, particularly with IT-related agreements. Proven experience in redlining and negotiating terms for professional services, SaaS, software licenses, and hardware. Strong understanding of contractual limitations of liability, scope of work, and other key legal considerations. Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and organizational requirements. What's in it for me?
