Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

We are seeking a Board-Certified OBGYN Physician for alocum tenens opportunity at a Level III trauma facility in Pomona, NJ. Thisinpatient, hospital-based position focuses exclusively on labor and delivery,with responsibilities including labor floor management, inductions, cesareansections, and the management of gynecological emergencies.

Compensation:

$190 Per Hour

Schedule & Coverage

Hours:

Approximately 36 hours per week

Day Shifts:

7:00 AM-7:00 PM

NightShifts:

7:00 PM-7:00 AM

Coverage:

Monday-Friday, with a mix of day and night shifts

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive inpatient obstetriccare for labor and delivery patients.

Manage the labor floor, including patientassessments and delivery planning.

Perform and manage labor inductions.

Perform cesarean sections as clinicallyindicated.

Evaluate and manage gynecological emergenciespresenting through the Emergency Department.

Provide inpatient gynecologicalconsultations.

Collaborate with nursing staff and otherhealthcare professionals to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation inCerner / Oracle.

Requirements

MD or DO

Board Certification in Obstetrics andGynecology required.

Active New Jersey medical license required.

Demonstrated experience managing labor anddelivery patients.

Experience with labor floor management,inductions, and cesarean sections.

Experience managing gynecological emergenciesand providing inpatient gynecological consultations.
