Job Full Description

Heavy Equipment Operator (Excavator + Dump Truck) - Class A CDL

Pay: $25-$40/hr DOE

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7 AM-5 PM

Location: Lewiston, ID

About the Role

Join a small, skilled crew installingseptic systems, replacing sewer lines, and upgrading water systems across a variety of job sites. This is hands-on, outdoor work where reliability and equipment skill matter.

Must-Haves

Class A CDL
Excavator + dump truck experience
Strong reliability and consistent attendance

Key Responsibilities

Operate mini excavators for trenching and utility installation
Drive dump truck and excavation truck/trailer using Class A CDL
Trench cleanup and backfill
Maintain safe practices around utilities and active job sites

Physical Requirements

Lift up to 50 lbs
Work outdoors in all weather
Frequent bending, kneeling, climbing in/out of equipment
Standing and walking on uneven ground

Experience Needed

Class A CDL
Experience withdump trucks, excavators, and excavation truck/trailer setups
Utility installation experience is a plus
