As an Unarmed Security Officer at a residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support residents and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. You will respond to security-related concerns, report observations, and contribute to a welcoming environment. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $22.72 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergency situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed. Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation. Minimum Requirements: Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR/First Aid experience is preferred. Access control/badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
