Medical Front Desk Receptionist (Bilingual Spanish/English) Location: Brooklyn, NYHours: Mon‑Fri (5 / 8.5 hour shifts between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.)Organization: New York Health (NYH) – Urology Join our team at NewYorkHealth (NYH) and help us provide compassionate, evidence‑based care to our patients. Responsibilities Open and close the office following daily procedures. Greet patients and visitors in a pleasant and professional manner. Assist with patient comfort and maintain a welcoming reception area. Answer phones, respond to inquiries, resolve issues, and schedule appointments. Collect co‑pays and manage daily financial totals. Guide patients through required forms and documentation. Create, monitor, and update patient records using the EMR system. Build and adjust physician schedules according to established rubrics. Distribute quality‑assurance surveys and prevention screenings. Monitor and respond to messages in the Care Team inbox in collaboration with nursing staff. Track daily visit lists to ensure proper scheduling. Protect patient privacy and adhere to HIPAA confidentiality guidelines. Support team by transitioning into related roles as needed. Perform tasks assigned for special projects. Qualifications High school diploma with at least 2 years of patient‑facing front desk experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to accept direction and work collaboratively within a team. Strong customer‑service skills. Minimum 1 year of EMR experience (preferred).
