Job Description\n TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU for a travel job in Seattle, Washington.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU\n Discipline: Allied Health Professional\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, nights\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n \n We're looking for a Pediatric Registered Respiratory Therapist (Peds-RRT) for an immediate travel position opening in Seattle, WA. The right Peds-RRT must have 1 year of recent acute care experience. Read below for additional requirements.\n As a Peds-RRT, you will provide direct patient care to patients in a variety of clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines.\n As a Peds-RRT, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:\n \n Administer to patients a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities.\n Maintains appropriate patient records/documentation.\n Cleans, disinfects, assembles, calibrates, maintains respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories. Evaluates equipment for proper and safe function. Reports malfunctions to director.\n Performs arterial puncture and analyzes sample according to procedure guidelines.\n Interacts with co-workers, nurses, physicians, other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care for patient being treated.\n Responds to emergent situations that could require Respiratory support.\n \n Peds-RRTs should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. Peds-RRTs should be able to easily lift 20 pounds. Moving or lifting of patients may require lifting of up to 50 pounds at times. Peds-RRTs must have specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.\n Must have 1 year of experience. Must have NBRC-RRT, BLS, and ACLS.
