About the Role
The Company is in need of an Executive Director for its hospice operation in the Akron area. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership across all aspects of the business, including operations, clinical services, regulatory compliance, staffing, financial performance, quality, culture, and market development. This role demands a leader who can ensure the delivery of high-quality interdisciplinary hospice care while meeting the company's operational, financial, compliance, and organizational objectives. The Executive Director will be accountable for the overall performance of the hospice, and must have a strong background in healthcare management, with a focus on hospice care. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company's hospice must have an active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license and a minimum of 2-5 years' of healthcare management experience, with a preference for those with hospice leadership experience. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of Medicare hospice certification and regulatory requirements, as well as a proven track record in supervising clinical, professional, and administrative personnel. Strong communication, leadership, judgment, organizational, and conflict-resolution skills are essential, as is the ability to operate effectively in an accountable, outcomes-driven environment.
