About the Role

The Intake Specialist / Marketer plays a key role in welcoming new clients, supporting families, and representing Seniors Helping Seniors Jacksonville throughout the community. This position blends relationship‐building, client support, and outreach — ideal for someone who is compassionate, organized, and energized by helping seniors remain safe and independent at home.

You will be the first warm voice families hear, the person who guides them through the intake process, and a friendly presence at community events and professional networking opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Intake & Coordination — Conduct initial intake calls, gather client information, assess needs, and schedule in‐home assessments.
• Family Support — Provide clear communication, answer questions, and guide families through services with empathy and professionalism.
• Caregiver Matching — Assist in pairing clients with compatible caregivers based on personality, needs, and availability.
• Community Outreach — Attend local events, senior fairs, networking meetings, and build relationships with referral partners.
• Marketing & Promotion — Support marketing efforts including social media posts, distributing materials, and representing SHS in the community.
• Documentation & Compliance — Maintain accurate records, follow agency procedures, and ensure all intake documentation is complete.
• Team Collaboration — Work closely with leadership, caregivers, and office staff to ensure smooth operations and exceptional client care.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior care, social services, customer service, or healthcare preferred
• Strong communication and relationship‐building skills
• Comfortable speaking with seniors and families in emotional or stressful situations
• Organized, detail‐oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
• Professional phone etiquette and strong follow‐through
• Ability to represent the agency positively in the community
• Compassionate, patient, and committed to dignity‐centered care

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time position
• Monday–Friday, with occasional community events
