About the Role

Operations Assistant (Back of House) The Operations Assistant is responsible for the general maintenance and overall organization of the stock areas and assists management in controlling inventory and loss prevention.

\n

\n

Responsibilities

\n

\n

\n

\n
• Determine and make necessary changes ensuring proper storage for the protection of assets. The organization also included systematic placement for easy access for the selling team to locate stock quickly.
\n
• Responsible for checking in all products and verifying the accuracy of the shipments.
\n
• Responsible for the shipment of customer purchases, store transfers, and warehouse transfers.
\n
• Responsible for making necessary adjustments for shortages, overages, and damages and communicating to the operations department the essential information.
\n
• Maintain accurate records and reports of all incoming and outgoing transfers, purchase orders, shortages, overages, and issues as they pertain to store stock.
\n
• Compile and file all documents about stock movement following proper procedures.
\n
• Assist visual with stock rotations and window changes, as well as appropriate storage of visual props to protect company assets.
\n
• Coordinate the disposal of excess, defective, or obsolete props.
\n
• Ensure all garments are adequately prepared for sales floor presentation.
\n
• Consistently maintaining a stock of store supplies.
\n
• Assist management with the preparation of store inventory and ensuring stock areas maintain inventory preparedness throughout the year.
\n
• Support selling floor when necessary.
\n
• And other duties assigned from time to time.
\n

Qualifications

\n

\n

\n
• Prior experience in retail stockroom is preferable.
\n

\n

\n

\n

Required Skills

\n

\n

\n

\n
• Physical capability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.
\n
• Strong organizational skills about all store product.
\n
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
\n
• Possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills.
\n
• Proficient computer skills.
\n

• Prior experience in retail stockroom is preferable.
