Role: Product Owner/Business Analyst (PO/BA) FDO (Fraud Detection Operations) Location: Charlotte, NC Duration: Long-Term Contract Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Product Owner / Business Analyst (PO/BA) with strong expertise in Fraud Detection Operations (FDO). The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, fraud operations teams, and technology teams to drive fraud prevention initiatives, gather business requirements, and deliver scalable solutions for fraud detection and risk management. Key Responsibilities: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, fraud operations teams, and technical teams. Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements related to Fraud Detection Operations. Manage product backlog, user stories, and prioritization in Agile/Scrum environments. Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure successful delivery of fraud detection solutions. Support fraud monitoring, case management, transaction analysis, and risk mitigation initiatives. Participate in sprint planning, requirement grooming, UAT, and release activities. Analyze fraud trends, operational challenges, and process improvement opportunities. Ensure solutions align with business objectives, compliance, and security standards. Required Skills: Strong experience as a Product Owner and/or Business Analyst. Hands‑on experience in Fraud Detection Operations (FDO) within Banking or Financial Services. Experience with fraud monitoring tools, transaction analysis, and risk management platforms. Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps. Excellent requirement gathering, stakeholder management, and communication skills. Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with AI/ML-based fraud detection solutions is a plus. Knowledge of banking regulations, compliance, and financial risk operations.
