Benefits: Company car Company parties Dental insurance Employee discounts Free uniforms Health insurance Paid time off AV / Low Voltage Project Manager IQ Automation is seeking an organized, proactive, and customer-focused Project Manager to oversee residential and commercial AV, smart home, and low-voltage projects from kickoff through final closeout. This role is responsible for driving project schedules, maintaining communication with customers and general contractors, monitoring labor performance, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and professionally. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly, and takes ownership of keeping projects moving forward while maintaining an exceptional customer experience. Position Responsibilities Project Scheduling & Coordination Manage project schedules from pre-wire through final completion Coordinate with IQA’s Installation Manager, general contractors, builders, and customers Identify and ensure project milestones and deadlines are met Identify scheduling risks early and proactively resolve delays Maintain accurate project timelines and task tracking Budget & Labor Oversight Monitor project labor hours against estimated budgets Review job progress regularly to identify labor variances early Work with Installation Manager to improve efficiency and scheduling accuracy Assist with change order coordination and scope adjustments Customer Communication Serve as the primary communication point for customers throughout projects Provide regular project updates and follow-ups Coordinate with IQA’s Office Assistant to ensure materials and timelines align Document customer communications consistently Project Closeout & Handoff Ensure projects move into closeout with minimal punch-list items Confirm documentation, programming backups, product information, and training are complete Coordinate final walkthroughs and customer handoff Track and resolve outstanding items promptly Administrative & Organizational Expectations Maintain organized project records and notes Utilize calendar blocking and scheduling systems consistently Participate in internal project review meetings Support continuous improvement of project workflows and customer experience Qualifications Preferred Experience Experience in AV, smart home, electrical, construction, or low-voltage project management Understanding of residential and commercial technology systems Familiarity with project scheduling, budgeting, and customer coordination Experience working with builders, designers, and subcontractors preferred Skills Strong communication and customer service abilities Excellent organization and follow-through Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail Comfortable using project management and scheduling software What We’re Looking For A self-starter who takes ownership of projects Someone who values professionalism, communication, and accountability A team-oriented leader who helps create a smooth customer experience A project manager who can balance customer satisfaction, scheduling, and operational efficiency Benefits Collaborative team environment Exposure to cutting-edge smart home and AV technology Company-supported professional development opportunities Health and dental insurance 9 paid holidays per year Access to Company Vehicle To Apply Please send your resume and relevant experience to IQ Automation.
