Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry

Shift Notes

This position requires coverage for 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, totaling 36 hours per week. Weekend shifts will be required every other week, along with holidays as needed.

Job Description

This role encompasses responsibilities within Medical/Surgical (MS), Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) settings. Candidates must be comfortable working across these specialties.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in PCU, Medical/Surgical, and Telemetry settings.
• Experience in a Medical/Surgical environment with cardiac monitoring is required.
• Previous travel experience is highly preferred.
• Rural or small facility experience is highly preferred.

Skills Required

• Basic dysrhythmia test certification required.
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to the work environment.
• RN/Patient ratio is typically 5:1, with lower ratios (3:1 or 4:1) for higher acuity patients.

Patient Population

This role involves caring for a diverse patient population, ranging from newborns to geriatrics.

Dress Code

Personal scrubs of any color are permitted.

Time Off Policy

Requested time off (RTO) must be noted and verified at the time of profile submission. RTO requests after submission will not be approved. Up to 5 days of RTO may be approved for a 13-week assignment. Holidays off cannot be guaranteed; travelers must work during specified holiday periods.

Certification Requirements

• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Active American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Profile Requirements

• Work history details.
• Skills checklists for Medical Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit, current within the last year.
• One supervisory signed reference from past employment within the last two years.
• New Hampshire RN license or Compact license.
