Each site is thoroughly screened by a principal to ensure quality, viability, and strategic fit. Team members collaborate closely with developers, landowners, and stakeholders to help advance projects that support the evolving energy and digital landscape. Role Description The Market Partner is a full-time, on-site role based in Virginia, IL, responsible for identifying, evaluating, and developing site opportunities for energy storage, AI data centers, and power-intensive projects. This role involves researching local markets, engaging landowners and community stakeholders, and assessing grid, zoning, and permitting considerations. The Market Partner will maintain relationships with developers and partners, prepare concise market and site summaries, and coordinate with internal principals for site screening and approval. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting new sites, visiting properties, collecting and organizing data, supporting due diligence, and contributing to presentations and proposals that move projects from concept to execution. Qualifications Experience in energy, infrastructure, real estate, or related markets, with the ability to understand BESS, data centers, and power-intensive project requirements. Strong research and analytical skills for market studies, site evaluations, and assessment of grid, zoning, and permitting factors. Effective communication and relationship-building skills to engage landowners, local officials, and development partners. Ability to work on-site in Virginia, IL, including regular field visits, property inspections, and in-person meetings. Proficiency with common office and mapping tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, GIS or online mapping platforms) to document and present site opportunities. Demonstrated initiative, organization, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities in parallel. Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, engineering, environmental studies, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Prior experience in site origination, land acquisition, or development advisory is preferred but not required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
