- Your Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement meaningful learning experiences aligned with NC Pre-K and Head Start frameworks.
- Promote growth in physical, social-emotional, cognitive, and language development.
- Use ongoing assessments to inform instruction and track progress toward School Readiness Goals.
- Foster positive, supportive relationships with children and families.
- Conduct home visits and parent-teacher conferences to build two-way communication.
- Ensure safe, healthy environments in both classroom and outdoor settings.
- Support successful transitions into and out of the NC Pre-K program.
- Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Human Services, or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree (as above) and one of the following:
- Current NC Birth through Kindergarten (B-K) Continuing License, or
- Working toward a B-K or Preschool Add-on License
