Position Details Position Title: Limited‑Term Instructor of COMPUTER INFORMATION SYSTEMS (CIS) Posting Number: PTI00142P Classification Title: Part‑Time Instructors Position Type: Full Time Faculty Posting Type: Internal/External Responsibilities Providing 18 semester hours of instruction per semester Providing student support and advising Maintaining an average of 10 office hours per week Working effectively and professionally with colleagues Teaching a mix of in‑person and online classes Required Experience A minimum of a Master’s degree in the teaching discipline or a minimum of a Master’s degree with at least 18 semester or 27 quarter graduate hours in relevant coursework (completed by the anticipated date of appointment). Required Education None specified. Preferred Qualifications/Experience Prior teaching experience, preferably at the collegiate level, desired. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to teach Computer Information Systems at the collegiate level. Ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods, relative to students and facilitate student learning. Effective communication skills needed. Excellent organizational and teaching skills. Demonstrated knowledge of instructional technology and ability to teach online is required. Licenses, Certifications, or Registrations None specified.
