Job Title: Coordinator, Business Operations Division: Pediatrics Work Arrangement: Onsite only Location: Houston, TX Salary Range: $47,372 - $52,000 FLSA Status: Nonexempt Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Summary The Department of Pediatrics is looking to hire a Coordinator, Business Operations for the TCH West tower 19th floor. This professional will provide high‑level program support for the Fellows College and Leadership College and Division Chief Boot Camp, direct visitors and phone calls, and manage basic administrative tasks such as mail pickup and facilities coordination. The floor hosts four different divisions/areas that require leadership from this position. Job Duties Manages logistics, communications and calendar management, supports the Director(s) of the department, and participates in the development of the Pediatrics Leadership College and Division Chief Boot Camp. Provides administrative support for the Pediatrics Fellows College: lecture management (including calendar management), recruitment, travel arrangements, orientation, program's annual retreat, management of fellowship education awards and liaison program, site exams room and proctor management, participates in monthly meetings, and is responsible for meeting minutes and distribution to the committee, working closely with the faculty program director. Provides clerical and data entry assistance, e.g., monthly AAP faculty membership reviews and notifications of new or terminated memberships, annual AAP membership audits, and reconciling membership for annual payment. Provides telephone coverage, which includes answering telephones, routing calls appropriately, and taking messages when necessary. Sorts and distributes incoming and outgoing mail and generates shipping labels as needed. Generates and maintains filing systems. Orders supplies for the department. Facilitates service calls for shared equipment. Manages travel arrangements and reimbursements, including travel expense reports. Performs other job‑related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or GED. Two years of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications Healthcare and/or administrative experience. Basic skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. Work Authorization Requirement This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
