Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,361–$2,491 per week Guaranteed hours: 40 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: Eight consecutive 10-hour shifts (Wednesday–Wednesday) Start date: 10/07/2026 Setting: hospital travel assignment in Pagosa Springs, CO Responsibilities Provide respiratory care for adult and pediatric patients across the hospital, including assessment, treatments, and patient education. Manage invasive and noninvasive ventilation and ventilator settings; monitor and adjust as needed. Perform ABG draws and analysis; document results and respond to abnormal values. Troubleshoot and maintain respiratory equipment; ensure patient safety and equipment readiness. Conduct ongoing patient assessments and collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to develop and adjust plans. Support cardiopulmonary diagnostic testing as assigned. Requirements Active Colorado Respiratory Care Practitioner license in good standing NBRC credential as RRT or CRT Graduate of an accredited CoARC respiratory therapy program Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS Minimum 5 years of ED/acute-care hospital respiratory therapy experience with adult and pediatric patients, including ventilator management ABG draw and analysis experience Benefits and Support 13-week assignment with 40 guaranteed hours per week Eight consecutive 10-hour shifts (Wednesday through Wednesday) Overnight on-call coverage during the work rotation with a 30-minute response time Assignment support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC
