Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Job

We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you'll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
• One year experience as an RRT
• BLS certification
• Graduate of an accredited CoARC respiratory therapy program
• Current NBRC credential as an RRT or CRT
• Current Colorado Respiratory Care Practitioner license in good standing
• AHA ACLS and PALS required
• Minimum of 5 years of respiratory therapy experience in an ED/acute-care hospital setting, including adult and pediatric patients
• Intensive care and ventilator-management experience
• Ability to function independently
• ABG draw and analysis experience

Assignment Details

• Eight consecutive 10-hour shifts, Wednesday through Wednesday
• Schedule is structured as 40 hours per workweek, Sunday through Saturday, followed by the scheduled off rotation
• Overnight call is required during the work rotation
• Must be able to meet a 30-minute on-call response time
