Job Details Job Type: Travel Registered Nurse Specialty: ICU / Trauma ICU / Critical Care Nursing Location: Madison, Wisconsin Assignment Length: 13 weeks Shift Duration: 12-hour nights Shifts per Week: 3 Hours per Week: 36 Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250 Schedule: Evening/night schedule with weekend and holiday rotation Start Date: 09/28/2026 Job Requirements Active Wisconsin RN license or compact RN license Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience required Medical ICU, Surgical ICU, and Trauma ICU experience required Epic charting experience required BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA only) Experience with Level I trauma care required Ability to successfully complete telemetry testing prior to start Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to thrive in a high-acuity critical care environment Responsibilities Provide high-quality care for critically ill adult and geriatric patients in a busy ICU setting Monitor and manage patients with complex conditions including respiratory failure, sepsis, trauma, GI bleeds, and post-operative needs Support advanced life support therapies such as ECMO and continuous dialysis Manage arterial lines, central lines, ventilators, vasoactive drips, and other critical care interventions Interpret telemetry and respond appropriately to changes in patient status Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver safe, coordinated patient care Serve as a team-oriented clinician in a fast-paced, high-acuity academic medical center Float as needed based on unit needs Why Travel to Madison, WI?
