Moog is projecting significant growth in the industry, driven by high levels of U.S. Department of Defense spending and a continued desire for space exploration. In order to meet the exciting challenges associated with growth in the industry, we are in search of talented individuals with a passion for space to join our growing team!We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to be the technical lead and point of contact with customers on recurring production programs as well as new design and development efforts for space propulsion hardware. The successful candidate will coordinate the work of designers, drafters, technicians, analysts, and other key members of a project team in the pursuit of successful project execution. Working jointly with the program manager, the project engineer shares responsibility for execution of cost and schedule targets throughout the course of a project. Facilitative leadership between program management, quality, and operations groups will be required in this role. The project engineer will report directly to the Project Engineering Manager.While this position will be based primarily out of the Niagara Falls site, travel between Niagara Falls and East Aurora facilities may also be required depending on the needs of individual programs.To be considered for this position, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:Bachelor of Science (required) or Master of Science (preferred) in related Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical, or Electrical)5+ years of related project engineering experience, with a proven track record of successful completion of projects. Previous experience supporting propulsion hardware, while not required, is desired.
