Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Schedule: Night shift (6:30pm - 7:00am), every Saturday/Sunday/Monday

Assignment Details:
Contract Length: 8 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse license within the state
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required
- ENPC, TNCC, and/or TNS preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Department.
- Evaluate patient outcomes and consult with specialists and ancillary departments as required.
- Adjust nursing care processes to ensure optimal patient care and flow through the Emergency Department.
- Communicate with physicians about changes in patient status, symptoms, and diagnostic study results.
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment.
- Address the psychosocial, physical, and general care needs of patients and families.
