Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments tailored for elderly clients, accurately identifying their unique psychological and emotional care needs.

• Provide both individual and group counseling sessions that specifically target issues related to aging, loss, and life transitions.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to create and implement individualized care plans, ensuring a holistic approach to each senior’s mental health.

• Educate families and staff on effective strategies that promote emotional support and overall quality of life for elderly individuals.

• Facilitate grief and loss counseling sessions for residents and their families, helping them navigate the emotional complexities of end-of-life care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be the elderly population, particularly those facing challenges associated with aging, such as loneliness, depression, anxiety, and grief. You will work with seniors from diverse backgrounds, supporting them through life transitions, loss, and mental health challenges to help them lead fulfilling lives. Understanding the unique cultural needs of our clients will be critical in providing effective and compassionate care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 65,000 to 95,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additionally, new hires will be eligible for a sign-on bonus as part of their compensation package.
