Work Environment\n

This position is based in an outpatient setting, allowing for a flexible work schedule and the option for remote work. Regular working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, facilitating a predictable routine while ensuring our clients receive top-notch care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate the specific needs of elderly residents, ensuring a tailored treatment approach.

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions aimed at helping clients navigate emotional challenges related to aging, loss, and life transitions.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that address the holistic needs of each geriatric resident.

• Educate family members and other caregivers on effective strategies for promoting emotional health and improving the quality of life for elderly individuals.

• Facilitate grief and loss counseling sessions for residents and their loved ones, offering support through end-of-life concerns.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on elderly clients who are experiencing mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, and issues stemming from significant life changes. You will work closely with seniors dealing with grief from loss, adapting to life transitions, and coping with age-related concerns. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
