Work Environment\n

This position affords the flexibility of a fully remote work setting, allowing you to conduct consultations and therapy sessions from the comfort of your home while maintaining a strong connection to our outpatient office. The majority of your work will be conducted Monday through Friday, between the hours of 9 AM and 5 PM, although occasional evenings or weekend hours may be necessary to accommodate client schedules. Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of geriatric clients, particularly in pre-crisis and crisis situations.

• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation that meets regulatory and organizational standards.

• Utilize evidence-based screening tools, and conduct assessments in collaboration with our clinical team for effective treatment outcomes.

• Engage in the development and implementation of positive behavior support plans, working closely with other team members and programs.

• Actively participate in the licensing and accreditation processes to uphold the quality and integrity of services provided.

• Serve as a liaison to relevant service systems, state agencies, and community partners, ensuring seamless communication and support for clients.

• Establish and nurture relationships with local, state, and federal agencies to advocate for geriatric programs and identify new partnership opportunities.
\n
• Pursue ongoing professional development through conferences, training, and participation in statewide meetings and committees related to mental health and geriatric care.

• Promote the mission, values, and philosophy of Life Healing Behavioral Health Center within the community.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support organizational needs and client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary client base for this position consists of seniors experiencing various mental health difficulties, including grief, anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders due to aging. Many clients may be navigating significant life transitions or coping with chronic health issues. It is imperative that candidates have a strong understanding of geriatric mental health, empathy, and a capacity for building rapport with clients to foster a supportive therapeutic environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $95,000 annually, which reflects your experience and contributions to the team.
